About the trip

We will visit Mexico City, one of the largest urban areas in the world, with great attractions, museums, beautiful colonial buildings, and excellent gastronomy. You will have the opportunity to make a pilgrimage with us through the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited Marian site in the world, filled with aesthetic symbolism and impressive due to its grandeur.

DAY 1

Day 1: Newark / Mexico City

At the indicated time, presentation at the airport to take a flight to Ciudad de Mexico Welcome to the group, general assistance and support for currency exchange. Transfer to the Galería Plaza Reforma hotel where the luggage will be left in storage until the rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. Food in local restaurant. Walking tour of the Historic Center of the City, considered a World Heritage Site, where we will visit the National Palace, also the excavations of the Great Aztec Temple and we will end in the Metropolitan Cathedral, where we will attend the Holy Mass. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2

Day 2: Mexico City – Cholula – Puebla

Breakfast buffet. We leave early in the morning towards Cholula, a city known for its beautiful and numerous churches, although nothing attracts more attention than the Great Pyramid dedicated to Chiconaquiahuitl, Goddess of the Nine Rains, settled on a base of 450 meters and in It is 65 meters high, which means that it is twice the size of the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacán (entrance not included). Then, we headed to Santa María Tonantzintla, where We will visit both the temple dedicated to Santa María, with its red brick façade and tiles diamonds, as well as the Church of San Francisco Acatepec. Afterwards, we continue towards the city ​​of Puebla, Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In its surroundings we will give a walk along 5 Oriente and 2 Norte streets to see the Zócalo, the Cathedral, the Chapel of the Rosario, the Parián, the Plazuela and the Callejón de los Sapos. DAY 3

Day 3: Mexico City – Guadalupe – Folkloric Ballet

Breakfast buffet. Today is dedicated to prayer in the most visited Marian Sanctuary in the world. American continent: The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We will attend the Holy Mass. Food in local restaurant. Early dinner at the hotel. At night we will visit the Palace of Fine Arts, main headquarters of the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico, a company that will take us to a trip through many states of Mexico with their music and dance. Note: Ballet Folklorico is only available on Wednesday and Friday nights, as well as Sunday mornings, and the venue may be changed without prior notice.
DAY 4

Day 4: Coyoacan – Xochimilco

Breakfast buffet. Today we will enjoy Mexico in its most local version. We will do tourism the colonial neighborhood of Coyoacán, where we will discover the House of Cortés and the Church of San Juan Baptist (possibility of celebrating the Eucharist). Then we will go to Xochimilco, the Gardens Floating, where aboard colorful Trajineras, we will travel through its channels between chinampas for the cultivation of flowers and mariachi songs. Food in local restaurant. Back to the city, we will visit the famous mural works of the City Rectory Building University of UNAM. Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5

Day 5: Mexico City – Culture and Basilicas

Breakfast buffet. The Plaza of the Three Cultures; few places in Mexico City They concentrate as much history as Tlatelolco. DAY 6

Day 6: Mexico City / Newark
