TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payments and Terms

At the time of registration, a deposit of USD 600 (U.S. dollars) will be required. Payment of this registration fee constitutes acceptance of the services offered by Travel Express and of the Terms and Conditions, which are available on our website and are also sent via email at the time of the quote and registration confirmation.

By accepting the registration form, you agree to waive the right to initiate any chargeback against Travel Express in the event of a failure by suppliers to issue a refund or credit due to the forced cancellation of services.

Once registration is complete, it is the passenger’s responsibility to make monthly payments in accordance with the Payment Plan provided by the travel advisor at the time of purchase to maintain their reservation. The amounts set forth in said Payment Plan are calculated based on the program’s cost and the time in advance of purchase.

The passenger must have paid 50% of the trip cost 150 days before the departure date, and 100% 90 days before that date. Failure to comply with this requirement gives Travel Express the right to release and use the reserved space for other passengers and reschedule the trip for the following period.

If the final payment is not received by the stipulated deadline, Travel Express may cancel your reservation. Additionally, a late payment fee of USD 50 may be applied, along with a possible increase in the cost of the airline ticket.

Travel Express acts as an intermediary, collecting funds on behalf of travelers for subsequent remittance to the corresponding providers, and assumes no liability whatsoever for the acts or omissions of said providers.

We accept registration payments and deposits via bank transfers and deposits, or through platforms such as Transbank (Chile), Zelle, and Stripe (United States and Argentina) using credit and debit cards. Travel Express reserves the right to adjust the package price or reduce the contracted services in the event that the value of the Euro against the U.S. Dollar increases by more than 3% from the date the prices were printed.

Air Transportation

This travel package includes round-trip economy-class airfare departing from the designated airport. Both the flight itinerary and the airline are subject to change.

Departure taxes and fuel surcharges, which are estimated in advance, may increase before the tickets are issued. If you purchase connecting flights on your own, Travel Express will not be liable for any costs resulting from the cancellation of your trip, regardless of the cause.

We strongly recommend that you do not purchase airline tickets until Travel Express confirms the group's departure.

Late Reservations

Registration requests received after the deadline for payment will be subject to prior confirmation. In such cases, additional fees may apply, as well as a possible increase in the cost of the airline ticket.

Seats on the Airline

Group reservations will be confirmed three months prior to the departure date. In accordance with group contracts, advance seat selection is not permitted.

Seat preferences, such as window or aisle seats, may be requested by the passenger at the time of check-in at the airport counter; however, we cannot guarantee that these requests will be honored.

Travel Express cannot process special seat requests on behalf of passengers. Additionally, group reservations are not available online for advance check-in, obtaining boarding passes, or seat assignments.

Land-Only Passengers

Land-only services do not include any portion of the group airfare. It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to independently arrange all air travel reservations.

Passengers who opt for land-only services or who decide to deviate from the group itinerary must arrange their own transportation to and from the hotel or airport. However, if individual flights coincide with the group flights, passengers may use the group transfers.

If airfare is purchased independently, Travel Express will not assume any liability for the cost of the ticket in the event that the group trip does not take place or is canceled for any reason.

Cancellations and/or Refunds

Once the services have been accepted, they cannot be canceled. This is because, upon payment of the registration fee, Travel Express reserves a spot for the passenger on a trip with a limited number of participants.

Travel Express services, including airline tickets and other services arranged at the destination (such as hotels, tours, and transfers), are neither refundable nor transferable.

The $600 registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable if the passenger cancels their trip.

In the event of a cancellation made within 100 days prior to the trip’s departure, or up to and including the day of departure, all payments made are non-refundable, including departure taxes, fuel surcharges, single-room supplements, itinerary change fees, travel assistance payments, or other additional costs. Cancellation requests submitted after these deadlines are not eligible for any refund or reimbursement.

Additionally, no refund or reimbursement will be issued for unused days or services during the trip due to personal reasons, illness, force majeure, or other causes.

Up to 120 days before the program’s departure date, you may switch from one group to another, subject to a fee of 200 USD to cover administrative costs and the issuance of a new Travel Assistance voucher. After this deadline, you may not switch from one group to another. Furthermore, trip changes and reactivations must be made no later than one year from the date of the change request.

Detours and Route Changes

Travel Express is pleased to assist its customers with special requests. Requests for itinerary changes must be submitted in writing at least 100 days prior to the departure date. A $150 itinerary change fee may apply, in addition to any applicable increases in airfare or additional fees. Please note that not all airlines allow route changes or deviations from the group itinerary. For more information, please contact Travel Express.

Accommodations and Individual Travelers

The package price is based on double rooms, meaning two single beds. Passengers may request a double bed, subject to availability. Single rooms may be requested at the time of booking; however, they are limited in number and subject to confirmation by the travel advisor, and may be smaller in size.

If a single room is confirmed, an additional charge will apply; your travel advisor will inform you of the amount. Although we cannot guarantee the assignment of roommates, we will do our best to accommodate travelers who request double occupancy.

If, for any reason—such as the absence of a roommate, the roommate’s cancellation, incompatibility, or other reasons—it becomes necessary to assign a single room, the corresponding supplement will apply.

If one of the passengers in a double room requests to switch to a single room during the trip, that passenger must cover the cost of both their own single supplement and that of the passenger who remains alone in the double room.

Disclaimer

Travel Express’s services are not subject to the right of withdrawal established in Article 3 bis of Law No. 19,496. Travel Express does not sell domestic airline tickets; therefore, the right of withdrawal or transfer of domestic airline tickets does not apply (valid for Chile).

Travel Express acts exclusively as an intermediary and agent for our suppliers, whether in the sale of services or in the acceptance of reservations for services not provided directly by Travel Express (such as air travel, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meals, tours, cruises, among others). Scheduled and/or confirmed services may be subject to changes due to reasons beyond the control of Travel Express and its suppliers; this does not entitle the customer to a refund, as services of a similar category, quality, and location will always be provided.

Travel Express assumes no liability whatsoever for breach of contract, bankruptcy, or any act or omission—whether intentional or negligent—on the part of our suppliers that results in loss, damage, delay, or injury to any traveler, companion, or group member. Travel Express is also not liable for changes to the schedules of religious services during the pilgrimage in the case of religious travel.

Furthermore, it shall not be liable for refunds due to injuries, damages, or losses incurred by travelers in connection with terrorist activities, armed conflicts, social or labor unrest, airline strikes, mechanical or construction problems, illnesses, pandemics, quarantines, local laws, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, abnormal circumstances, or any other act, omission, or force majeure event beyond Travel Express’s control.

By participating in this trip, the traveler voluntarily assumes all associated risks, whether foreseeable or not. The traveler is advised of these risks and is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance if deemed appropriate. Travel Express is not responsible for minors traveling on the tour; any minor must be accompanied by an adult and comply with the laws in effect in their country of residence regarding international travel.

Regarding payments, if a passenger fails to make a payment for two consecutive months, their spot will automatically be released in the third month, and their trip will be rescheduled for the following period, of which they will be duly notified. The passenger will always have the option to bring their payment status up to date.

Check the exchange rate when making a payment in pesos (valid for Chile and Argentina).

Health Advisory for Travelers

All passengers are required to be in a medical and physical condition suitable for travel, ensuring that the trip does not pose a risk to their own safety or that of others.

Most of our itineraries include long walks, stairs, hills, and uneven surfaces, as well as cobblestone streets. Tour buses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. If a traveler requires special assistance, they must notify Travel Express in advance and travel accompanied by someone who can provide the necessary support.

Travel Express assumes no liability in the event that a passenger’s special needs cannot be accommodated. Furthermore, Travel Express shall not be liable for the denial of services to any passenger by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent providers.

Travel Assistance

The program includes a Travel Assistance voucher, the scope and coverage of which are tailored to each passenger’s age. This service can be activated to provide assistance in the event of any medical emergency that may arise during the trip. All travelers are advised to familiarize themselves with the details of the benefits included in the voucher’s assistance plan so that they are fully informed about the services provided.

Upon registration, Travel Express will send your payment invoice, the digital itinerary, and a detailed description of the benefits of your Travel Assistance Plan from the Travel Assistance provider via email and WhatsApp**.

The Travel Assistance included in our programs provides coverage from the moment the passenger leaves the country on the first day of the trip until their return to the country.

If a refund is processed through the travel assistance provider, the provider is responsible for the review period and for issuing the refund directly to the passenger. Travel Express has no involvement in this process, which is subject to the travel assistance provider’s General Cancellation Terms and Conditions.

Transfers

Transfers at the destination are included exclusively for passengers who purchase the complete package and travel on the dates specified for the group tour.

Checked baggage allowances depend on the route (origin–destination) and the airline included in the program; therefore, please consult a passenger service representative (SAP representative) for detailed information.

Travel Express is not liable for lost or misplaced luggage. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that their luggage remains with them throughout the entire trip.

Passport and Visa Requirements

Each traveler is fully responsible for carrying a valid passport and for being aware of the current entry and exit requirements for all countries included in the itinerary.

Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the return date. Travelers may be subject to special entry requirements. It is recommended that you consult the appropriate consulate for up-to-date information on international travel requirements.

Passengers must submit a copy of their passport 4 months before the program’s departure.

It is the sole responsibility of each traveler to ensure that the necessary travel documentation is complete and valid. Travel Express assumes no liability arising from a passenger’s failure to provide valid and up-to-date entry documents (such as a passport, vaccination certificate, or any required test results).

Permission to Use Audiovisual Material

The passenger grants Travel Express permission to use photographs and/or videos in which he or she appears, taken during the trip.

It is understood that such images and/or videos may be used in print or online publications, presentations, websites, and social media platforms. By granting this consent, the traveler waives any claim for financial compensation or for any potential damages related to the use of such images.
